What Is VPLS?
VPLS is a class of VPN or Virtual Private Network that connects multiple sites to form a single bridged domain. It is implemented using a MPLS or Multi-Protocol Label Switching Network. That makes it protocol-transparent so that all services, regardless of which location the are physically located at, appear to be on the larger LAN that serves all locations.
What Does Fully Converged Mean?
MPLS networks that are described as fully converged ensure that voice, video and data packets can co-exist without interference. This is done by managing class of service and bandwidth on the network.
Why Use Private WAN Network Solutions?
A private network has inherently better security and can be structured to guarantee important parameters such as bandwidth, jitter, latency, and packet integrity.
Cost Advantage of Converged Networks
By merging voice, data and video onto a single network, the cost and support levels needed to maintain separate computer data, telephone and video networks is reduced to a single network staff. WAN networks may also be managed by the provider, if desired.
Why Use a Telecom Broker?
A broker, such as Telarus, can shop multiple carriers to find you the best price on MPLS networking and the access network connections for each of your business locations.
